GB's baby blessing

We blessed GB the same weekend as JB's birthday. It's a good thing we didn't wait any longer. Her dress was getting a bit on the snug side.

My mom made this cute slip to go under her dress so you could see pink peeking through the holes in the skirt. She did such a cute job that it almost looks like it's own dress!




My daddy has such a soft spot for little girls - it's so sweet. We're so glad they could come down and celebrate with us during this exciting weekend. It was kind of weird having such a small blessing circle - Boyd, my dad, and our home teachers - it made us really miss all of Boyd's family that's out west.

I'm told that Boyd gave a really sweet blessing. Sadly, I didn't get to hear it because JB was screaming for Daddy. He's filled me in a little though, and some of the things he included were:

- that she will make wise choices that will lead her to the temple
- marry in the temple
- be a good mother
- that she'll listen to the promptings of the Spirit
- be modest
