Last night for FHE we went to the pet store. Boyd has always wanted a fish tank, and now that we're moving we've decided to start collecting the things we need so we can set one up in our new apartment. We also thought that it would be fun to introduce JB to the fish, birds, reptiles, etc that are found there.
After successfully looking at the finches and canaries, Boyd rounded the corner to show JB the guinea pigs. He kneeled down, JB took one look and SCREAMED!!! We had never heard a scream of pure terror come out of our kid before and it was quite a shock! And he kept screaming until we finally left those ugly "pigs" and moved onto the fish....which he would only enjoy from a distance.
Maybe he was too young, or maybe he was too tired...
But I'm glad he doesn't like those awful, smelly, dirty creatures....

That is so funny. I wonder what he would think of Che (our chinchilla). . . :o)
That is hilarious! Benjamin did something similar a few weeks ago when a friend was showing us their new puppy. It WAS strange to hear a scared scream come from someone so little! Now he won't go near any animal... cat, dog, goat, cow etc.
Oh my gosh! Poor Jake! But thanks for the entertainment. I laughed pretty hard. When you guys come for a visit we will stash our furballs elsewhere.
