Lake Havasu

We had the pleasure of going down to Lake Havasu over this past weekend with Nancy and Larry. We stayed at Larry's grandparent's place down there, which is only a short walk from the lake.

We were surprised at how fast the drive was. Jake was a super trooper and only had to stop once in St. George. (Which makes me feel a lot better about driving to Iowa with him in a month.) Beautiful scenery like this also makes the drive go a lot faster.














This was JB's first real experience in the water (besides his little bathtub). He L-O-V-E-D it! The lake took some more getting used to than the pool because it was colder and such, but he seemed to have a good time in each. He's going to be our little fishy!





























It was super cute to see how JB and his cousin became such good friends on the trip. By the end they were sharing toys and looking out for each other. It'll be sad to leave all the little cousins here soon. Thank goodness for the upcoming reunions!


Thank you Nancy and Larry for inviting us to come along! We had a fantastic time! We needed it in more ways than one.
