A week or two ago we heard back from the U of U and the answer was no. So those of you that are hoping to keep us in UT, your only hope is if BYU decides to let us in
Just tonight we got news from Iowa, and we're in! Ok, it's really just Boyd that got into their law school, but ya know. Iowa was the second highest ranked school Boyd applied to, so it's nice to be accepted.
We've been spending way too much time lately looking at possible housing in Houston in case that's where we end up. We kind of thought that would end up being the only school he got accepted to with how things were looking so it was fun to start looking around. Some of them are pretty fancy shmancy for the prices....with all their pools and palm trees the pictures make them look like resorts instead of apartments. The hard part about Houston is trying to find somewhere that's nice and safe, but not too far of a commute for Boyd.
For those of you keeping track...the only schools left to hear back from are AZ, CO, and SMU (which we won't go to anyway).

I hope you guys end up at the best place for you, but I secretly hope you'll pick Iowa so that you won't be SOOOO far away from your folks! Congratulations on the acceptances!
Yeah, home prices in Texas are some of the lowest in the country. We could've gotten a lot more for the money there if we had bought a house there like we were originally planning on. Good luck to you guys! I know you guys will end up wherever you're meant to go.
